	„HAW-EuropeNetworks: Virtual Worlds“ Building a European research network for the EU “Virtual Worlds” initiative The Virtual Worlds project is an initiative funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research to build a strong ecosystem for virtual worlds The aim of the project is to establish a network of companies, research institutions and public stakeholders to promote the development and implementation of innovative technologies for virtual worlds in line with the EU strategy for Web 4.0 and virtual worlds. To this end, Mittweida University of Applied Sciences will expand the XR-INTERACTION network to include a strong European partner network. This forms the basis for pooling the best technological and scientific expertise across Europe and working together on highly innovative projects.
